Time to Give Back

As most of you have heard, Extreme Makeover Home Edition is in town this week. Ark Remodeling and Construction is the lead build team to make it all happen. It’s time for Gainesville to give back. Amongst the amazing volunteers who are giving of their time and many other things, let’s all take some time this week to “give back”. Here are some opportunities you can be a part of.

-TOY AND BOOK DRIVE
New/unwrapped toys and books for the children of the Wagstaff Family. Gift Certificates are also welcome. Today is the last day to give, so stop by any of these 4 locations to give a gift. Giggle Magazine, Spa Royale, Gainesville Dermatology Associates, McCalister’s Deli.

-BLOOD DRIVE: LifeSouth, Ark Remodeling, City of Gainesville and Alachua County, along with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, have teamed up to host blood drives during this build.

So in the spirit of community, you’re encouraged to roll up your sleeves and donate blood during the weeklong build. Our goal is to register 1,000 donors. All donors will get a Limited Edition Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Blood Donor t-shirt. LOCATION DETAILS

-FOOD DRIVE: Visit any of the local BBVA Compass Bank locations and donate
non-perishable food items between December 7th and December 14th!

Ladies love their heels

When we started our new company, we though “what do we love almost as much as planning weddings and events?”.. shoes of course!! How perfect was it that one of my brides owns Stilettos in Lake City! I did some shopping and couldn’t leave without taking home at least 2 pair for myself, but to also take 9 others to use in our marketing photo shoot. Amy (Owner of Stilettos) was very helpful and offered to order the pair of shoes that I needed in my size and send it to me. Stilettos offers online ordering or in store shopping.

Next time you are near Lake City, make sure you stop in Stilettos for some HEELS!! We ADORE the ones we purchased from Stilettos!!

Remodel process (Before photos)

How fun is it remodel?? Well, we are thrilled to be in our new office and so excited for Unique Designs to have their new office. We all have had a full week of stripping wall paper, pulling the glue left from the wall paper, sanding the walls, priming the walls, painting new color on the walls, dusting, cleaning the floors, and on to move in day this weekend.

Thanks to all those who stopped by for sneak peeks of the remodeling and move in process! We can’t wait to show you all at our Launch Party in February!!

Teitz-Lane Wedding in the Details!

What a fun Bay Laurel wedding for Anna and Robby. There were some details that made it extra special for them…

…the custom made invitations with colors to match their over all decor…

…the cake topper from overseas that they picked up on their travels together…

…the custom made table number board for their guests….

..the rings on a string (2 Groomsmen held an end of the string and held it in front of each guests row; the guests would then make a blessing on the rings and pass them down the row on the string; at the end of each row, the groomsmen would then move on to the next row until it reached the front where the best man cut the string and gave the rings to the Bride and Groom)…. this Ring Ceremony was done while the brides brother sang “I Will Love You”…..

…to the Aunts of the Bride who put all of the floral arrangements to match the beautiful garden setting.

And of course we were there freezing during the outside reception, but so happy for Anna and Robby!
