Honor your “Father of the Bride”

June 20, 2010

In honor of Fathers Day we wanted to say a Thank you to all the “Fathers of the Bride’s” who show their softest side on their daughters wedding day when they cry tears of joy as they give their daughters away.

One of the most popular wedding songs for the Father/Daughter Dance right now is: ”I loved Her First” So dad’s, we know you loved her first but thank you for loving her so she can have her the beautiful wedding day she imaged. Brides: Don’t forget to give your dad an extra hug today for all the support he is giving you through your exciting planning process. It’s his day too, to ‘give-you-away’

And I have to say a special Happy Fathers Day to my dad of course. I wouldn’t normally post a photo of myself, but these two pics bring warmth when I see how happy my dad was for me on ‘my’ wedding day. I can still remember him talking to me as we entered the aisle. Love you Dad!

March-April Madness

WOW, March was “madness” at times and April did bring some “showers”, but we loved working with all of our Spring Brides!! These past couple months went by so fast and I love being focused on each client. It’s so great to work with all of you!! This week, I am sharing a few photos from some of the weddings we worked on in the past month or so. They are just “point and shoot” from my little camera, but I will be happy to share more as we get them from the professionals! Don’t forget about “Summer Specials” coming up and some new fun projects we’re working on that we’ll show you soon.

Southern Style Reception at Bay Laurel

March 24, 2010

Any Wedding Coordinator would ADORE a wedding at a beautiful venue. I personally ADORE Coordinating at Bay Laurel and the wedding for Alex and Crystal this past weekend. This “Southern style” wedding was perfect with barrels of hay from the Father of the Bride, rentals of wagon weals and fenced entrance from PartyTime Rentals and the beautiful flowers from The Plant Shoppe.
