Hi all… Now that I can finally get back to blogging, I want to share some info about the EXTREME Makeover Home Edition that I had the opportunity to be a part of.
As a wedding Coordinator I don’t usually think about working with a TV show. However, last year when Ark Remodeling asked me to plan their Wrap and Viewing party I was eager to accept the opportunity. THIS year when ADORE EVENTS was asked to be involved we ended up not only planning the Wrap and Viewing Parties, we were a part of the build week as well. I had the opportunity to work with all of the Sponsors and build team as the VIP Coordinator.
If you saw the show, it was the eposide for the Brewer-Prewitt family, also known as the Brewitt family from Orange Park/Middleburg. Carrie, the mom, adopted 3 girls (oldest was from her volleyball team). Being adopted myself, I was touched by their story. So many Sponsors, Volunteers and people involved in this build had a personal experience with being a part of the show and can tell their own stories.
I was grateful to meet and work with so many giving people. Here are a few photos to share. Tomorrow we will post the VIP Tent photos. We could talk about how much sleep did NOT happen over several months, or living in an RV for 9 days, but overall it was a life changing experience that could never be replaced. I am so grateful for the opportunity to Sponsor this event and enjoyed working with so many other amazing people. Thank you to my clients and vendors who were supportive throughout the time frame.
Cheers! -Amy

-Getting “the list” ready for VIPs

They were asked to come and be a part of the VIP tent, however, they could not sit still and wanted to help. So grateful for our Military who always want to ‘jump right in’!!
